well, there’s something that came through my mind just now after reading some lines from a friend of mine., about the difference of arguing and blaming. Because in my mind, I use the argumentation feeling, while she’s using the word blaming for what we’re argue about.
So, in my opinion, Arguing is not blaming. It is totally different. Who’s with me?
Arguing is debating. Arguing is saying things in different perception than others. We’re arguing in order to try to break other’s believes, or else, defending ours. We’re arguing in the way to push our opinion, our will, things that we know to the person with other knowledge of this something arguable.
Or like the dictionary says :
- Give reasons or cite evidence in support of an idea, action, or theory, typically with the aim of persuading others to share one’s view.
- Persuade someone to do or not to do (something) by giving reasons: “I tried to argue him out of it”.
That’s arguing. Now, let’s talk about blaming. Blaming is when you are pointing out at someone and said that they are wrong while we are right. Blaming is when you’re breaking a law and the police pointing at you, that’s blaming.
Or so the dictionary says :
- an act of attributing fault; censure; reproof:
- responsibility for anything deserving of censure
And then when you think that you’re not wrong, you should deny the charge the gave for you. That’s the relation between blame and deny. Apart from blaming and denying, when someone argue your opinion, you should do the same thing like they do, argue.
Well, that’s a little bit of my theory about arguing and blaming.
So, I was arguing with you, not blaming. You should have stood up for what you believe, and not giving up like that and think that i was blaming you for what you have said. It’s kinda disappointing though
No offense to those who think i’m talking about themselves
